Due to Good Friday, I had a long weekend. I took this chance to visit some friends down in University of Chicago and walked around the campus. Since the students were still on their spring break, the campus was very quiet. I loved the Gothic architectures, they gave the university a feeling of literature and education, probably due to the connection between Gothic architecture and the Renaissance period. Although I got to say, many of the buildings facade have sculpted heads as part of the decoration and they can get rather creepy pretty quickly.
