Dress: H&M | Perfume: Marc Jacobs | Accessories: Forever 21 | Lipstick: Estee Lauder | Watch: Daniel Wellington | Boots: Target

This week I put together an outfit inspired by the lyrics “I got that red lip classic thing that you like…” from Taylor Swift’s Style. I paired a bright red lip with a classic LBD, some ankle boots, a metal choker necklace and some dainty jewelries. This outfit is perfect for a casual afternoon date. With a change of shoes, from the boots to some pumps, it would also be perfect from a more dressed up event.12918991_10206015714652928_1383472252_n

The dress has a jewel neckline with a flared circle midi skirt. I love how I can wear this dress on the weekends as well as to work! The modest neckline and skirt length makes the dress appropriate in an office setting, but the skirt is fun and a bit more causal than the pencil skirts usually seen in corporate environment.

The skirt is asymmetrical, the two sides are a little bit shorter than the front and back. The cut creates a curve on the bottom, but when you twirl around the skirt creates a full circle. I really like the visual interest the skirt’s hemline creates.12571305_10206015714812932_732718772_n

The choker has been in season for a while now. I really like this piece in particular because of its ornate details. Since the necklace is metal based instead of velvet or string, it’s more dressy.

I hope you enjoyed this outfit. I had a lot of fun putting it together. Thank you for dropping by and reading! Feel free to leave any feedback in the comment section below, I would love to hear them! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend and happy Easter.

Cheers,

Jenn
